Amazing tour. The communication in advance went really well, they picked us up punctually and we were only a group of 4! (they only handle small group with max. 6 people which is a great benefit). Guide and driver (in our case son & dad) were so nice and our guide Otto had an excelent english (which is a bit rare in Peru, so we really appreciated it). Arriving in Caral, the tour took around 3 hours - if you go in the summer be warned, that the heat is very strong! Afterwards we got some lunch (not included) and could spend some time at the beach in Barranca, which is a really nice beach! I'm very glad we went with Peruna tours and can honestly recommend them further! I don't have any complaint!
I enjoyed everything about this interesting tour to Caral. Tour leader, Otto, was caring and knowledgeable. The stops for breakfast on the way to Caral, and lunch after visiting the site, were also enjoyable. I also liked the promptness of pickup at my hotel, and the small group size. This was an excellent excursion!
Caral is an amazing city, I think this should be a must-do whenever you visit Peru. The whole trip with Peruna was 10/10. Jose was an amazing tour guide and he knew a lot about the culture. He was always making sure we understood everything and was very kind with us. Definitely an excellent experience with them.
Overall great experience on the tour. My tour guide Jose was very knowledgeable and was able to translate the tour into English on my behalf. Great add on to the trip was Barranca a beach town about 30 minutes north of Caral Supe. Only downside was the length of the car ride-which there’s really nothing that can be done about that.
The whole tour was perfect. Finishing in a local restaurant was a wonderful experience. Excellent guide. In summertime you can‘t pass the river so you have to walk at least half an hour. It could be very hot because it‘s a desert.
They were terrific in every way and did everything possible to make this trip memorable. Caral itself is stunning. Highly recommended!
